About The Position

ACE Cash Express is seeking energetic, personable, sales-oriented associates to support store operations. Associates use customer service and sales skills to understand customers’ needs, recommend appropriate products and services, build trust, and provide exceptional service. Compensation includes hourly pay plus bonus incentives. Spanish proficiency is preferred and welcomed in most markets. The role offers opportunities for on-the-job learning and development, teamwork, and career advancement. Travel is primarily local and may involve visiting more than one store in a day when necessary. The position requires working in a confined work area for 10–12 hours, subject to state-specific labor laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to listen actively, communicate effectively, and empathize with customers.
• Ability to understand the financial products and services offered by ACE.
• Ability to work independently and embrace accountability for store performance.
• Ability to work 10–12 hours in a confined work area, contingent on state-specific labor laws.
• Ability to stand for extended periods; sit, walk, reach, stoop, bend, communicate verbally, and actively listen.
• Ability to see clearly at close and distant ranges and adjust focus as needed.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish proficiency is preferred and welcomed in most markets.
• Two or more years of retail experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers’ unique needs and recommend appropriate ACE products and services.
• Communicate effectively with customers, empathize with their challenges, and build trust.
• Provide exceptional customer service to foster lasting relationships.
• Handle services that may vary by store, including cash handling, check cashing, lending, bill pay, and card services.
• Prioritize accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines.
• Work independently and take accountability for overall store performance.
• Travel locally, including to more than one store in a day when necessary.
