About The Position
ACE Cash Express is seeking energetic, personable, sales-oriented Sales Associates to serve customers and support store operations. The role involves understanding customers’ needs, recommending appropriate ACE products and services, building trust through effective communication and empathy, and delivering exceptional customer service. Associates may handle services that vary by store, including cash handling, check cashing, lending, bill pay, and card services. Accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines are essential. The position calls for an entrepreneurial spirit, independent work, and accountability for overall store performance. Spanish proficiency is welcomed in most markets; Spanish is preferred. Travel is primarily local and may involve visiting more than one store in a day when necessary. The role requires working 10–12 hours in a confined work area, subject to state-specific labor laws.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to listen actively, communicate effectively, and empathize with customers’ challenges.
- Ability to understand ACE’s range of financial products and services.
- Ability to work 10–12 hours in a confined work area, contingent on state-specific labor laws.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting or moving up to 25 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of retail experience is beneficial.
- Spanish proficiency is welcomed in most markets; Spanish is preferred.
