About The Position

The IMA Group is seeking experienced Bilingual Registered Nurse Case Managers (RNs) to join their Boston team on a 1099 independent contractor basis. For over 30 years, The IMA Group has partnered with individuals, employers, carriers, and government agencies to improve health and disability outcomes nationwide. This role involves coordinating medical care for injured workers and serving as a liaison between providers, employers, adjusters, and attorneys within the workers' compensation system. The position offers a flexible, hybrid field-based structure with competitive pay and no bedside care, weekends, or on-call duties.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• 3+ years of Workers' Comp Field Case Management experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Comfort working independently with a flexible caseload
• Reliable transportation across the greater Boston area
• Malpractice insurance, or the ability to obtain it

Nice To Haves

• CCM, CRRN, or similar certification

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee medical treatment plans
• Attend appointments and evaluate treatment progression
• Communicate across providers, employers, attorneys, and carriers
• Assess medical necessity and appropriateness of care
• Prepare timely, detailed case management reports
• Support return-to-work and transitional duty planning
• Coordinate IMEs and job site evaluations
