Registered Nurse Case Manager (1099) - Jacksonville, FL
About The Position
The IMA Group is seeking experienced Registered Nurse Case Managers to support workers’ compensation cases in Jacksonville, Florida, and surrounding areas. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with a flexible schedule and a hybrid, field-based arrangement combining local travel and remote documentation. It does not involve bedside nursing, routine weekends, or on-call responsibilities. Caseloads and assignments may vary. The role involves coordinating medical care and treatment plans for injured workers, monitoring their treatment progress, communicating with relevant parties, documenting case management activity, and supporting return-to-work planning. The IMA Group has provided medical and case management services nationwide for over 30 years.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN license.
- Minimum 3 years of Workers’ Compensation Field Case Management experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload.
- Reliable transportation for local travel.
- Professional liability insurance or ability to obtain it.
Nice To Haves
- CCM, CRRN, or related certifications preferred.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate medical care and treatment plans for injured workers.
