About The Position

Granite Credit Union is hiring a full-time Bilingual Universal Bank Teller (Member Service Representative) to work at various locations in Salt Lake County. The role provides a variety of paying and receiving services for members, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier's checks, money orders, and cash advances. The representative balances daily transactions and verifies cash totals, performs assigned side duties, and assists other tellers. The representative also learns to open new accounts and consult with clients on loan applications. The position involves attending meetings punctually, interacting with clients, keeping the workspace clean and organized, serving members promptly and professionally, and protecting their confidential information.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
Good math skills.
Customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

Cash handling experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to resolve client issues with professionalism and patience.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier's checks, money orders, and cash advances.
