About The Position

Investment Planning Counsel (IPC) is a leading independent wealth management firm in Canada, now acquired by Canada Life. This role partners with IPC Wealth Advisors in Quebec and Eastern Canada to develop and execute personalized marketing strategies. The goal is to enhance brand presence, improve client experience, and support business growth. This position requires fluency in both French and English. It involves collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, providing training on marketing tools, and contributing to marketing program development. Key skills for success include relationship-building, strategic thinking, project management, and innovation.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Marketing or Communications
  • 4–5 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within financial services or a client-facing environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Strong working knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams); experience with CRM or marketing automation platforms is an asset
  • Ability to work effectively with Advisors and stakeholders across Quebec and other regions

Responsibilities

  • Partner with IPC Wealth Advisors in Quebec and Eastern Canada to create personalized marketing plans that enhance brand visibility, enrich client experiences, and drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with IPC Wealth’s strategic priorities and reflect the values of the Individual Wealth Experience team.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with Advisors through consistent, proactive communication and support in both French and English.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to ideate and evolve marketing programs that reflect innovation and Advisor needs.
  • Source and manage external vendor relationships to deliver best-in-class marketing tools and solutions.
  • Provide onboarding, training, and troubleshooting support for marketing platforms and tools to ensure Advisor success and adoption.
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives comply with Quebec language laws and regional marketing standards, maintaining cultural sensitivity and regulatory adherence.
