About The Position

A Dayforce Application Specialist (Bilingual English/French) is responsible for providing customer-focused technical support and guidance on Human Capital Management (HCM) software, ensuring customers are able to effectively utilize system features and resolve application-related issues.

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required; verbal and written communication must meet professional client-facing standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Demonstrated openness to learning and utilizing AI-driven tools and technologies to enhance problem-solving, communication, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong customer-service mindset with a commitment to timely follow-up, clear communication, and consistent ownership of customer issues through resolution.
  • Ability to work assigned business hours aligned to Eastern Time (ET), including scheduled shifts ending as late as 6:00 p.m., to support customer and operational needs.
  • Proficiency in English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders, co-workers, managers and/or clients across the world. Further, our back office support teams, including but not limited to Human Resources, are primarily English speaking. Employees need to be able to communicate with these departments in English to appropriately administer their business relationship. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking co-workers, managers, stakeholders and/or clients, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Canadian payroll, tax, year-end processes, and benefits administration is strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to US payroll is considered an asset; however, candidates must be willing to learn and support US payroll processes and cross-train across multiple Human Capital Management (HCM) modules, including HR, workforce management, benefits administration, and talent management.
  • Exposure to SQL and experience with ERP applications are considered assets.
  • Experience supporting or working with HCM software is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting software issues and resolving Dayforce application-related inquiries.
  • Answer customer questions and provide guidance on the effective use of the Dayforce software application.
  • Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues or defects.
  • Deliver customer guidance, training, and ongoing support to promote effective use of the Dayforce software application.
  • Maintain documentation and knowledge base articles to support issue resolution and customer self-service.
  • Stay current with Dayforce software features, enhancements, and updates, and communicate changes to customers.
  • Communicate service scope and discuss when customer requests fall outside standard support offerings or require billable services.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of the software application, HCM modules, and related business processes to effectively support evolving customer needs.
