Be the face of Benefits & Community Support Services! The Client Engagement Specialist is part of the Benefits & Community Support Services Team, in Human Services, whose primary responsibilities include: Handling direct client interactions through front desks (Eagle, Edwards, El Jebel), Call Center, central email/fax/mail and other customer portals including CO PEAK — the official web portal used to apply for and manage medical, food, cash or other State of Colorado benefits online. Additionally this team schedules client interviews, completes case updates, creates new work tasks in the electronic workflow system, answers client questions, triages customer documents and inputs into the central processing electronic workflow, refers clients to additional services and supports as necessary and escalates clients requiring emergency assistance and/or those with service challenges. The Client Engagement Team is the public ‘face and voice’ of the Benefits & Community Support Services Team. Specifically, Client Engagement Specialists are the primary connection for Eagle County residents living in the Eagle Valley River area who need assistance in navigating, accessing, and understanding the wide range of programs, resources and supports available through Economic Services and our community partners. The position will variously work out of the main ES operation located in Eagle and/or the satellite ES office located in Edwards depending on operational and client needs.
