Sandvik Mining is seeking a Bilingual HR Advisor – Talent Acquisition (9‑month contract, with possibility of extension). This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who has experience recruiting blue‑collar or skilled trades profiles, and who genuinely cares about delivering an exceptional candidate experience, even in a high‑volume environment. In this role, you will support recruitment efforts for key operational positions across Canada, including our Field Service Technicians, who play an important role in Sandvik’s day‑to‑day success. Requirements
- Fluency in both English and French language is required.
- Postsecondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field of study.
- 1–3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a fast‑paced or industrial environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal teams.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple roles and priorities.
- Comprehensive understanding of employment legislation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS/ATS systems (Workday experience is an asset).
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
- A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities
- Manage full‑cycle recruitment for assigned roles, including job posting, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and effectively develop and execute recruitment strategies for assigned functions.
- Lead the development of sourcing strategies for hard‑to‑fill positions.
- Stay current with market initiatives and proactively seek opportunities to promote Sandvik.
- Build relationships with local organizations, institutes, and community partners to maintain a strong talent pipeline.
- Participate in talent acquisition events such as professional and academic career fairs, networking events, industry events, and community initiatives.
- Assist with reporting and metrics to track recruitment performance and trends.
- Maintain and update recruitment activity in our HR systems (Workday).
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and candidate outreach efforts.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies throughout all recruitment processes.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
