About The Position

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Bilingual Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for NOELA Community Health Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is a full-time outpatient primary care position within a community health center setting. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care for a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The FNP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, with a strong emphasis on preventive care and wellness. The position operates within a collaborative, team-based practice model, managing approximately 18-22 patients per day. The health center is mission-driven, dedicated to improving healthcare access for underserved communities and providing culturally competent care.

Requirements

Active Louisiana Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license.
Bilingual in Vietnamese.
Ability to provide primary care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, and chronic disease management skills.
One year of experience preferred; motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions while emphasizing preventive care and wellness.
Manage approximately 18-22 patients per day within a collaborative, team-based practice model.
Perform routine health maintenance, patient education, chronic disease management, and follow-up care.
Work alongside physicians, nurses, and support staff committed to improving healthcare access for underserved communities.
Practice in a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center dedicated to culturally competent care.
