About The Position

TTI Power Equipment is hiring Bilingual Customer Service Associates for its Customer Engagement Department at the Anderson, South Carolina office. The role is on 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with weekend work required. Starting pay is $17.11 per hour. The position handles calls from consumers, service centers, distributors, and internal customers. Associates address warranty coverage and service questions, resolve issues, and enter orders while providing pricing, stock availability, and order status.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent.
Minimum one year of TTI customer service, call center, or closely related experience with inbound calls.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate with callers using a clear understanding voice.
Ability to professionally handle irate callers and high-stress situations.
Excellent phone skills.
Ability to satisfy consumers and end users with minimal management intervention.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Weekend work required.
Bilingual ability, as specified in the position title.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with Microsoft Access.

Responsibilities

Respond accurately to consumer, service center, and distributor calls regarding company policies and procedures.
Verify and authorize warranty coverage for callers.
Provide helpful direction to callers dealing with warranty and non-warranty service.
Resolve issues for authorized service centers or consumers while maintaining a flexible approach to enforcing policy.
Provide callers with locations to purchase parts and receive repair service.
Work with internal customers on warranty claims, stock issues, and lost or damaged freight.
Enter orders and provide customers with pricing, stock availability, and order status.
Perform other duties as assigned.
