About The Position

As a member of the Clinical Team, the Bilingual Care Coordinator supports an Icon Orthopedic PA or NP in carrying out a patient’s treatment plan. The role includes direct patient communication by text, email, and phone, as well as administrative work across multiple digital platforms. The coordinator serves as a close partner to the clinician and a trusted patient advocate. This is a fully remote, full-time position with openings aligned to both Eastern and Central time zones. English and Spanish fluency are required.

Requirements

At least 3 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting.
Ability to use multiple digital tools for record keeping and patient care directives.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage patients.
Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the Icon Team.
Hard-working, flexible, and able to handle pressure in a fast-paced, quickly evolving environment.
At least 1 year of experience working in a fully remote or hybrid environment.
Ability to problem-solve independently and think on your feet as needs arise.
Bilingual English and Spanish; both languages are required.

Responsibilities

Build trust with patients through an empathetic attitude and working knowledge of healthcare.
Communicate and collaborate with external office staff and other members of the Icon clinical team.
Prioritize the patient experience as patients navigate their musculoskeletal care journey, providing customer service.
Complete tasks as directed by the clinician in a fast-paced environment.
