Requirements

• Prior retail sales or grocery store experience preferred, with a focus on customer interaction and product merchandising
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially in managing team members or overseeing daily operations
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
• Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering processes to ensure smooth checkout experiences
• Strong communication skills to clearly explain rental procedures, safety guidelines, and product features
• Experience in upselling or product demos that enhance the customer experience is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with bike rentals, returns, and inquiries using POS (Point of Sale) systems
• Conduct product demos to showcase bike features and rental options, enhancing customer engagement
• Manage inventory by stocking bikes, accessories, and promotional merchandise to ensure availability and visual appeal
• Upsell additional products such as helmets, locks, or accessories to maximize customer satisfaction and sales
• Maintain accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures while processing transactions efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions over the phone and in person, demonstrating strong phone etiquette and communication skills
• Supervise rental procedures, ensuring safety protocols are followed and bikes are properly maintained for optimal performance
