Requirements
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering processes to ensure smooth checkout experiences
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain rental procedures, safety guidelines, and product features
Nice To Haves
- Prior retail sales or grocery store experience preferred, with a focus on customer interaction and product merchandising
- Supervising experience is a plus, especially in managing team members or overseeing daily operations
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Experience in upselling or product demos that enhance the customer experience is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with bike rentals, returns, and inquiries using POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Conduct product demos to showcase bike features and rental options, enhancing customer engagement
- Manage inventory by stocking bikes, accessories, and promotional merchandise to ensure availability and visual appeal
- Upsell additional products such as helmets, locks, or accessories to maximize customer satisfaction and sales
- Maintain accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures while processing transactions efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions over the phone and in person, demonstrating strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Supervise rental procedures, ensuring safety protocols are followed and bikes are properly maintained for optimal performance
