About The Position

The Beverage & Chemical Service Technician supports customers across a Kansas territory by installing, maintaining, and servicing beverage and cleaning and sanitation products and equipment. The territory generally extends from Goodland to Topeka and Concordia to Wichita and has approximately 375 regular customers. The role works with existing accounts to provide reliable service and identify opportunities to grow sales. Depending on the selected candidate’s location, the position averages two to three overnight stays per month. Expected earnings are $48,000–$51,000, depending on experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

• High school education or GED.
• Driver’s license and a safe driving history.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with a wide array of personalities.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks professionally and on time.
• Ability to discuss upgrade opportunities with customers.
• Ability to sit for long periods while traveling to work locations.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds when performing maintenance or installations.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, stoop, and kneel regularly when performing maintenance or installations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform scheduled installations, preventative maintenance, and service according to CWD standards.
• Build relationships with existing customer accounts to grow sales.
• Provide additional technical support to District Sales and Regional managers as needed.
• Maintain a quality maintenance schedule within the territory and log activities for quality assurance.
• Discuss upgrade opportunities with customers.
