About The Position

The Technician, Beverage & Chem manages accounts in a geographical area, providing assistance and training by maintaining beverage and chemical equipment. The role installs and tests equipment and helps customers and salespeople determine the best equipment or products for each application. It provides professional, courteous, accurate, and timely communication to customers, vendors, and company personnel, and works as a team member to support the department and organization. The position is based in the Louisville, Kentucky, or Southern Indiana/surrounding area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of equipment sales and/or maintenance experience.
• Live in the Louisville, Kentucky, or Southern Indiana/surrounding area.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of equipment sales and/or maintenance experience within the foodservice industry.
• Live in the Louisville, Kentucky, or Southern Indiana/surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts in the geographical area and provide assistance and training to those accounts.
• Maintain proper functioning of beverage and chemical equipment.
• Install and test equipment.
• Help customers and salespeople determine suitable equipment or products for each application.
• Provide face-to-face customer service in various situations.
• Drive to customer sites to help correct problems.
• Prepare schedules for service or installation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
