About The Position

The Beverage & Chemical Service Technician supports customers across a territory extending from Stuart, Nebraska, to Phillipsburg, Kansas, and from Lexington, Nebraska, to Wood River, Nebraska. The Beverage & Chemical Department provides customers with cleaning, sanitation, and beverage products and services intended to deliver consistent, high-quality results. The technician contributes to this work through dependable service, training, and communication. The territory is being divided due to customer growth, with an experienced technician available to help train the new technician.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide array of personalities.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks professionally and on time.
• Ability to discuss upgrade opportunities with customers.
• High school education or GED.
• Driver’s license and a safe driving history.
• Ability to sit for long periods while traveling to work locations.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds when performing maintenance or installations.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, squat, stoop, and kneel when performing maintenance or installations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform scheduled installations, preventative maintenance, and service according to CWD standards.
• Build relationships with existing customer accounts to grow sales.
• Provide additional technical support to District Sales and Regional managers as needed.
• Maintain the territory’s quality maintenance schedule and log activities for quality assurance.
• Discuss upgrade opportunities with customers as part of a soft-sales approach.
