Winston Benefits, a Brown & Brown company, is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our call center team! A Benefit Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day servicing of clients. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Be knowledgeable of all products and services offered by Winston. Be knowledgeable of all workflow processes. Respond to all inbound service calls and voicemail messages from customers, according to Call Center Research and resolve complaints to ensure customer retention and satisfaction. Communicate with carriers on behalf of members to obtain and update necessary information. Mail voluntary insurance product brochures, applications, service request forms and claim forms as Respond to inquiries from Benefit Consultants/Enrollers. Keep Account Manager and Customer Service Manager informed of any client requests, problems and/or Create and maintain a log of call inquiries from new clients and report to sales department as required. Ensure the delivery of quality service to clients by meeting established performance goals and objectives. Offer voluntary insurance products as part of the enrollment process. Perform Telephonic enrollments according to Call Center procedures. Participate in outbound telemarketing campaigns as assigned by management. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • B.A./B.S. degree or commensurate industry experience.
  • Minimum 3 years agency/consultant/broker or carrier experience.
  • Have or be willing to obtain a NJ Producer License (Life and A&H).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs, internal systems, and other programs needed for the management of the department.
