About The Position

In the role of Benefits Analyst working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the North American Benefits team. This person will be responsible for overseeing the administration of all company-sponsored benefits plans and programs. This position is considered a key resource both internally and externally to resolve benefit-related issues and questions. This position will have direct interaction with employees, retirees, HRBPs and other internal stakeholders to ensure all aspects of benefit administration and support during the employment lifecycle move smoothly. Responsibilities include working with external vendors, consultants, as well as assisting employees and internal partners with questions, and benefits appeals. This position supports labor negotiations and partners with our locations in resolving benefits administration issues and providing support to the Total Rewards team and our leadership as needed.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (3+ years) in benefit administration
  • A working knowledge of benefit administration and related legislation as it pertains to retirement and health and welfare benefits
  • Build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome
  • Strong analytical skills and highly competent in Excel

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day administration of the company’s US benefits plan
  • Act as a liaison between outside administrators (TPA, insurance carriers and voluntary benefit providers) and customers (including HR, payroll, employees, and retirees) to ensure timely resolution of eligibility and claim disputes as well as effective administration of company plans
  • Participate in annual large-scope projects and other work including annual enrollment, labor negotiation support, benefit appeals, process documentation and system testing
  • Conduct benefit plan audits
  • Ensure compliance with the administration of the Affordable Care Act, updating the Summary Plan descriptions, execution of non-discrimination testing, etc.
