This role plays a key supporting part in the day-to-day administration of the company’s benefits programs, focusing on operational excellence, including invoice processing, managing inquiries through ticketing systems, and assisting with vendor coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and eager to grow within a benefits function while supporting team priorities and enhancing the employee experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required. Relevant benefits or HR experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2–3 years of experience in benefits, HR operations, or a related administrative role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (e.g., data tracking, reconciliations, basic formulas, and reporting).
  • Customer-service mindset with strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with benefits administration, HR systems, or ticketing platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and reconcile benefits-related invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely payment in partnership with finance.
  • Monitor and respond to employee inquiries through the benefits ticketing system, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality resolution.
  • Triage and escalate complex benefits issues to senior team members as needed.
  • Provide day-to-day support for benefits administration, including leaves, enrollments, life events, and eligibility updates.
  • Assist with vendor coordination, including tracking issues, follow-ups, and supporting service delivery improvements.
  • Support audits, reporting, and documentation for compliance and internal controls.
  • Maintain and update benefits documentation, guides, and internal resources.
  • Partner with team members on ongoing initiatives, open enrollment preparation, and process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, enhance service delivery, and reduce manual effort.
