Bench Validation and Characterization Manager

GlobalFoundries•Richardson, TX
•$171,000 - $296,000

About The Position

GlobalFoundries is seeking a senior engineering leader to lead a team of bench characterization engineers supporting new product development. The role combines people leadership with hands-on technical contributions, with an equal focus on both. The manager will coordinate closely with design, software/firmware, product/test engineering, and project management teams, and may engage with external customer teams to deliver characterization results that support project goals. The position leads silicon bring-up, validation, and characterization for complex SoCs; manages and develops validation engineers and lab technicians; and defines and executes validation plans covering functionality, performance, power, and reliability. It also oversees characterization of analog, mixed-signal, and RF subsystems and IP across digital, analog, and RF product lines. The manager owns lab infrastructure and operational excellence, drives correlation across simulation, bench results, and ATE production test data, and supports qualification, customer engagements, and production release activities. The expected salary range is $171,000 to $296,000. Exact salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and location.
