About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom pieces according to their skill level. The role focuses on delivering a customer-first experience and high-quality custom jewelry design and repair. Signet offers training and continued learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime and varying hours, including some nights and weekends.

Requirements

1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler skill level
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Customer-service orientation and a high standard for quality work
Basic computer skills
Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends
Seasonal overtime is required

High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Repair chains and clasps
Re-tip prongs
Set stones and create stone mountings
Perform channel and platinum rebuilds
Perform minor ring and other jewelry repairs
Carve wax, fabricate, and cast jewelry
Design and create custom jewelry pieces
Perform CAD/CAM design work
Restore jewelry and provide custom jewelry design and repair services that meet customer expectations
