About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team in Buford, Georgia. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom pieces, depending on their skill level. The role offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. The team is dedicated to providing a customer-first experience and high-quality custom jewelry design and repair services. Pay is competitive and reflects the jeweler’s current skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of a 40-hour work week, with seasonal required overtime; hours vary and may include nights and weekends.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends; full-time work is 40 hours per week with seasonal required overtime.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry and perform jewelry repairs.
• Perform chain and clasp repairs, re-tip prongs, and set stones.
• Create stone mountings and perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
• Perform minor ring repairs and other jewelry repairs.
• Carve wax, fabricate jewelry, and cast pieces.
• Design and create custom jewelry.
• Perform CAD/CAM design work.
• Deliver a customer-first experience that meets or exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
