About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their current skills. The role focuses on delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on jeweler skillset and experience.

Requirements

• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service orientation and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Availability for seasonal required overtime for a full-time schedule.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Knowledge of stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition and beauty.
• Perform jewelry repairs, including chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, minor ring repair, and other repairs.
• Create stone mountings and perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
• Perform wax carving, fabrication, and casting.
• Design and create custom jewelry, including CAD/CAM design work as applicable.
• Deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repair services.
