About The Position

Signet Jewelers is hiring entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom pieces according to their current skillset. The role focuses on delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repair. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay reflects the jeweler’s skillset and experience.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time work consists of a 40-hour week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or skills in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
• Design and create custom jewelry pieces, depending on current skillset.
• Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
• Perform applicable bench work, such as chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repair, wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM design.
