About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry based on their skills. The role focuses on delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime; hours vary and include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and high standards for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Availability for seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Experience with wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design, and CAD/CAM design work.

Responsibilities

• Repair jewelry, including chain and clasp repairs, re-tipping prongs, stone setting, minor ring repairs, and other jewelry repairs.
• Create stone mountings and perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
• Perform wax carving, fabrication, and casting.
• Design and create custom jewelry, including CAD/CAM design work where applicable.
• Restore jewelry to its original condition and provide a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
