About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their current skill set. The role offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on the jeweler’s current skill set and experience. The position is full-time, consisting of a 40-hour work week, with seasonal required overtime and varying hours that may include nights and weekends.

Requirements

1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original beauty and perform jewelry repairs.
Design and create custom jewelry, depending on current skill set.
Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
Perform tasks such as chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repair, wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM design work, as applicable to skill set.
