About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their current skillset. They are expected to deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is competitive and reflects the jeweler's skillset and experience.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
Able to work seasonal required overtime.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
Design and create custom jewelry according to current skillset.
Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
Perform jewelry-related work such as chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repair, wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM design.
