About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team at Crossings at Fox Run in Newington, New Hampshire. Depending on current skillset, the role involves restoring jewelry, performing repairs, and designing custom pieces while delivering a customer-first experience. The company offers training and ongoing learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on the jeweler’s current skillset and experience.

Requirements

Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler skill level.
Have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Be customer-service minded and maintain a high standard for quality work.
Have basic computer skills.
Be available for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
Work a 40-hour week for full-time employment, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.
1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
Design and create custom, one-of-a-kind jewelry according to current skillset.
Deliver customer-first service that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
Perform relevant bench-jeweler work, which may include chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repair, wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM design.
