About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design custom, one-of-a-kind jewelry based on their skillset. The role focuses on delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and ongoing learning, with opportunities to develop skills and advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime. Hours vary and include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
Varying hours, including some nights and weekends; seasonal overtime is required for full-time work.

Knowledge or skill in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original beauty and perform jewelry repairs.
Design and create custom jewelry based on current skillset.
Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
Depending on skillset, perform chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, stone mounting, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design, and CAD/CAM design work.
