About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team at the Eastland Mall location in Evansville, Indiana. Depending on skill level, team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom pieces. The role offers opportunities to develop skills and advance from beginner to artisan through jeweler training programs, certification classes, continuous learning, and a promote-from-within environment. Team members are expected to provide customer-first service and high-quality work. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with varying hours that may include nights and weekends and seasonal required overtime. Pay is competitive and reflective of current jeweler skills and experience.

Requirements

One to three years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry and perform jewelry repairs to meet customers’ needs.
Design and create custom jewelry according to current skill level.
Deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
Perform relevant bench-jeweler work, which may include chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, and CAD/CAM design work.
