About The Position

Signet Jewelers is hiring entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Team at Greenwood Park Mall in Indianapolis, Indiana. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their skill level. The team focuses on delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers jeweler training and ongoing learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is described as competitive and reflective of the jeweler’s current skillset and experience.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test assessing current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and high standards for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
Full-time work consists of a 40-hour week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
Jeweler experience at an entry or experienced level.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
Depending on skillset, design and create custom, one-of-a-kind jewelry.
Deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
Potential bench work may include chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, and CAD/CAM design work.
