About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their skillset. The team is dedicated to delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning to help Jewelers advance their skills and careers in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on the Jeweler’s current skillset and experience.

The role is full-time, consisting of a 40-hour work week, with varying hours that may include nights and weekends and seasonal required overtime. The position is located at the Target Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current Jeweler skill level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends, and seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or skills in chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repair, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, and CAD/CAM design work.
