About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their skillset. The team is dedicated to delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers jeweler training and continuous learning in a promote-from-within environment, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. The position is full-time, with a 40-hour work week and seasonal required overtime; hours vary and include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends; seasonal overtime is required.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, or CAD/CAM design work.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Repair jewelry, including chains, clasps, prongs, rings, and other jewelry.
• Set stones and create stone mountings.
• Perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
• Carve wax, fabricate, and cast jewelry.
• Design and create custom jewelry, including CAD/CAM design work.
• Restore jewelry to its original condition and provide custom jewelry design and repair services that meet customer expectations.
