About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom pieces based on their current skillset. The role is part of a promote-from-within environment with training and continuous learning opportunities to develop jeweler skills. Team members are expected to deliver a customer-first experience and high-quality custom jewelry design and repair services. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime and varying hours that may include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler skill level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and high standards for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
Varying hours, including some nights and weekends; full-time positions require a 40-hour work week and seasonal overtime.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition.
Perform jewelry repairs, including chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, stone mounting, channel and platinum rebuilds, and minor ring repairs.
Carve wax, fabricate and cast jewelry, and create custom pieces.
Perform CAD/CAM design work as applicable to the team member’s skillset.
Provide custom jewelry design and repair services with a customer-first approach.
