About The Position

The Bell Person / Driver works with the guest services department to provide exceptional hospitality to guests and owners. The role escorts guests from the front desk to rental lodging, individual properties, or other local destinations in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner. This is a seasonal, full-time position based primarily in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Requirements

Hold a valid driver’s license without limitations or restrictions and meet the company’s insurability standards.
Have at least five years of prior driving experience, either professional or personal, demonstrated by continuously maintaining a valid driver’s license.
Communicate clearly in English, verbally, nonverbally, and in writing.
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, coworkers, and management in accordance with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company’s Service Excellence standards.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Have the vision abilities required for close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus.

Responsibilities

Safely escort guests and owners from the front desk by vehicle to individual properties or a central check-in area, the ski area, downtown, grocery stores, and other local attractions.
Assist guests with loading and unloading skis, luggage, and other personal items.
Use a cell phone app or similar device to communicate with the dispatcher, front desk, shuttle drivers, and other Bell Persons and receive instructions.
Promptly report accidents to the direct supervisor and follow specified accident procedures.
Comply with company policies and procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
