About The Position
Cambrian Homecare, LLC is hiring Behavioral Technicians to provide one-on-one care to children or adults with developmental disabilities in their homes. The role supports individuals with challenging behaviors and helps relieve family members from daily living activities. Available shifts are Friday through Monday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The posted hourly wage is $24.00.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- CPI or Pro Act certification is required.
- At least 6 months of experience working with behavior is required.
- Must be able to pass a background check, Live Scan, and reference check.
- Must have a current TB test, physical, CPR certification, and First Aid certification, valid within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities who have challenging behaviors, helping relieve family members from daily living activities.
- Implement behavior management strategies, including responding to physically aggressive behavior, as trained.
- Engage clients in activities they enjoy.
- Recognize and respond to behavioral patterns to anticipate and prevent behavior triggers.
- Provide crisis intervention while prioritizing the client’s safety.
- Maintain a positive relationship with the client and family.
