About The Position

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP CPI Consultant to design, build, and operate enterprise integration scenarios connecting SAP S/4HANA and other SAP applications with non-SAP, third-party, and cloud-based systems. The consultant will own the integration lifecycle, from requirements analysis and interface design through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and post-go-live support. The role calls for deep SAP CPI expertise and a strong understanding of integration patterns, API management, and message-based architectures. The consultant will work with functional consultants, enterprise architects, and integration partners to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions. This is a 100% remote, full-time, direct W2 position with Bright Vision Technologies, based in the continental United States. The work is part of the company’s in-house Statement of Work engagement; Bright Vision Technologies is the employer, with no third-party client, vendor, or implementation partner. C2C, 1099, and third-party arrangements are not accepted. No new H1B sponsorship is available, but qualified candidates requiring an H1B transfer may apply. A technical coding assessment is mandatory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least five years of SAP integration experience, including at least three years on SAP Integration Suite/CPI.
  • Hands-on experience developing iFlows, writing Groovy/Java scripts, and using a wide range of CPI adapters.
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns and middleware concepts.
  • Experience with SAP API Management and event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with security standards including OAuth2, SAML, and certificate-based authentication.
  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
  • Experience with integration scenarios involving S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, or Concur.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Willingness to work directly as a full-time W2 employee of Bright Vision Technologies and contribute to its in-house SOW deliverables.
  • Confidence in technical abilities and hands-on experience, as a technical coding assessment is mandatory.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of SAP PI/PO and experience migrating PI/PO interfaces to CPI.
  • SAP-certified Integration Suite or CPI developer credentials.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Event Mesh and SAP Advanced Event Mesh.
  • Exposure to SAP BTP development and the CAP framework.
  • Familiarity with non-SAP integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Boomi.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD for SAP Integration Suite content transports.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop end-to-end SAP Integration Suite/CPI scenarios, including synchronous and asynchronous flows, complex mappings, and orchestration logic.
  • Build, configure, and maintain integration content using iFlows, content modifiers, splitters, routers, exception subprocesses, and adapter-specific configurations.
  • Develop custom Groovy and Java scripts for complex transformation, validation, and routing requirements.
  • Configure and operate HTTP, SOAP, IDoc, OData, JMS, AS2, SFTP, REST, Salesforce, and Ariba adapters to connect SAP with cloud, on-premises, and partner systems.
  • Implement secure communication channels using OAuth2, mTLS, certificate-based authentication, and secure parameter management in CPI.
  • Design integration patterns aligned with SAP reference architecture, including event-driven, API-led, and middleware-mediated patterns.
  • Build error-handling, retry, and alerting mechanisms and provide observability into message flow and processing.
  • Migrate legacy SAP PI/PO interfaces to SAP Integration Suite, including assessment, redesign, and parallel-run strategies.
  • Configure and manage SAP API Management policies, throttling, security, and developer-portal experiences.
  • Support performance tuning for high-volume integrations, including pooling, parallel processing, and tenant capacity management.
  • Document interface specifications, integration designs, and operational procedures, and lead knowledge transfer to support and operations teams.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and external integration partners to align technical designs with business processes.
  • Provide hypercare and post-go-live support, including root-cause analysis and structured incident response.
