About The Position

Cambrian Homecare, LLC is hiring Behavioral Technicians to provide one-on-one care to children or adults with developmental disabilities in their homes. The role supports individuals with challenging behaviors and helps relieve family members from daily living activities. Available shifts are Friday through Monday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The posted hourly wage is $24.00.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have CPI or Pro Act certification.
Have at least 6 months of experience working with behavior.
Be able to pass a background check, live scan, and reference check.
Have a current TB test, physical, CPR certification, and First Aid certification; these must be valid within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Support individuals with developmental disabilities who have challenging behaviors, helping relieve family members from daily living activities.
Implement behavior management strategies, including responding to physically aggressive behavior, as trained.
Engage the client in activities they enjoy.
Recognize and respond to behavioral patterns to anticipate and prevent triggers.
Provide crisis intervention while prioritizing the client’s safety.
Maintain a positive relationship with the client and family.
