About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers offering the highest standard of medical and clinical treatment, including detox, residential, PHP IOP, and outpatient services. The center is JCAHO and CARF accredited, and in full compliance with all ASAM standards. The Louisiana facility is a residential center providing inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation and withdrawal management. It features a unique setup with one treatment facility surrounded by 10 converted townhomes, allowing clients to engage in full-time inpatient treatment while residing in a warm, domestic setting. The environment aims to remove barriers and diminish any institutionalized feeling, with staff providing round-the-clock, dignified, and compassionate care, fostering openness and healing.

Requirements

If in recovery, a minimum one - year period of sustained sobriety required
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality
Dignified character that models recovery principles

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED preferred
Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
Record and escalate any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner
Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)
