Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) 3pm-11pm
About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with 18 locations across seven states, known for its evidence-based clinical curriculum and individualized care. The company offers programs including detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. The specific facility, Avenues Recovery Center at Bucks, is a community-based, residential-style outpatient drug and alcohol rehab program. It partners with Crosswalk Sober Living to provide clients with treatment in a domestic setting with 24/7 supervision and care. The team consists of therapists, nurse practitioners, addiction counselors, and behavioral health technicians dedicated to providing effective treatment.
Requirements
- If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
- Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
- Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
- Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
- Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
- Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
