About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with 18 locations across seven states, known for its evidence-based clinical curriculum and individualized care. The organization offers programs including detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. The company is seeking talented and passionate clinicians to join its family. This specific role is for a Behavioral Health Technician for the overnight shift at Avenues Recovery Center at Bucks. This facility is a community-based, residential-style outpatient drug and alcohol rehab program that partners with Crosswalk Sober Living to provide clients with treatment in a domestic setting with 24/7 supervision and care. The team consists of skilled therapists, nurse practitioners, addiction counselors, and behavioral health technicians dedicated to providing effective treatment.

Requirements

If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED preferred
Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
