About The Position

Silver Lining ABA is seeking a dedicated Behavior Health Technician (BHT) to work one-on-one with children, primarily those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), to help them develop essential life skills, gain independence, and achieve meaningful goals. The role involves implementing individualized treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and positive reinforcement. The company provides comprehensive training, ongoing support, and opportunities for career growth within the behavioral health field. This position is ideal for individuals interested in fields such as Psychology, Education, Social Work, or Child Development.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass required background checks and clearances
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to complete required training
  • Love working with children and young adults
  • Enjoy being active, playful, creative, and engaged
  • Can keep up with children ages 2–18
  • Patient, compassionate, dependable, and willing to learn
  • Comfortable working with children with varying levels of need

  • Can maintain client safety, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Comfortable collecting data and documenting sessions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Behavior Health Technician
  • Interest in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Social Work, Counseling, Healthcare, Child Development, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Help children develop communication, social, academic, daily living, and independence skills

  • Work collaboratively with BCBAs, families, teachers, and other professionals
