About The Position

Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers is seeking a patient-focused technician to deliver life-changing TMS and esketamine therapies in their welcoming outpatient centers. This is an opportunity to grow skills, receive specialized training, and connect with patients. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, with 8-hour shifts scheduled during operating hours of 7 am-7 pm. The role will be based primarily in the Columbia, MD, center but will require providing coverage in other area centers as needed. Reliable personal transportation is required to travel between centers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Equivalent clinical certification
• Significant relevant work experience in patient care or in fast-paced in-person patient care or customer care/service roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (AdvancedMD preferred)
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Strong grasp of appropriate patient/provider boundaries
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provided)
• Reliable personal transportation to travel between centers is required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field
• At least the equivalent of one year of healthcare work or internship experience
• Knowledge of insurance payers and medical necessity guidelines

Responsibilities

• Administer TMS and esketamine treatments following clinical guidelines
• Meticulously monitor patient responses
• Administer and record psychiatric rating scales
• Proactively address patient discomfort
• Deliver empathetic and supportive care
• Maintain accurate EHR
• Manage patient scheduling, check-in, check-out, and financial procedures
• Understand and assist with insurance and billing processes as needed
