About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for all shifts at its Prince Frederick location. The role provides day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams, helps create a warm and accepting recovery environment, monitors clients and supports safety, escalates important communications or incidents, and completes administrative duties. The workplace is a 93-bed residential facility providing drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. The facility’s medical and clinical team is available around the clock, and its environment emphasizes acceptance, hope, and healing.
Requirements

Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- CPR certification preferred.
- If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support to medical and clinical teams, including admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, and phones.
- Engage with clients and build rapport to create a warm, accepting recovery environment.
- Monitor clients and enforce Avenues policies to help ensure the safety of clients and staff.
- Record and escalate critical communications and incidents in a timely manner.
- Complete administrative duties, including shift documentation, inventory, meetings, and office support.
