3rd Shift Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)
About The Position
Wood Violet Recovery is hiring an overnight Behavioral Health Technician to support adults receiving residential treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The role helps maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment throughout the night and prepares the facility for the day ahead. The technician works independently while collaborating with nursing, clinical, and operations teams to support continuity of care, and treats clients with professionalism, empathy, dignity, and respect. The schedule is 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.

- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, healthcare, social services, customer service, or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the facility and conduct routine client safety and wellness checks.
- Maintain a calm, therapeutic environment during overnight hours.
- Respond appropriately to client needs, emergencies, and crisis situations.
- Document observations, safety checks, and client interactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Complete light housekeeping and organizational tasks to prepare the facility for the morning shift.
- Assist with early morning client routines as needed.
- Provide transportation for approved appointments when necessary.
- Collaborate with nursing, clinical, and operations teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Support clients with professionalism, empathy, dignity, and respect.
