About The Position

Triangle Springs is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide support and care to patients at its 77-bed hospital. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living and patient care, supporting diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions, observing and documenting patient behavior, and communicating changes in patients’ condition to nursing staff. The position is PRN (as needed). The team emphasizes teamwork, low patient ratios, and opportunities for growth within the department.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of behavioral health experience preferred.
• CNA license preferred.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with performing activities of daily living.
• Provide or assist with providing patient care, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions.
• Observe and record patient behavior and activities.
• Report changes in patients’ physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Suggest modifications to treatment plans as needed.
