About The Position

Triangle Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide patient care in its behavioral health hospital. The 77-bed hospital values teamwork, offers low patient ratios, and provides opportunities for upward mobility and growth within the department. The role supports patients with daily activities and care, observes and records behavior, communicates changes to nursing staff, and may suggest treatment-plan modifications. The position is PRN (as needed).

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year of behavioral health experience.
• CNA license.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with performing activities of daily living.
• Provide or assist with providing patient care, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions.
• Observe and record patient behavior and activities.
• Report changes in a patient's physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Suggest modifications to treatment plans as needed.
