About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician for its Dublin, New Hampshire location. The organization operates drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers offering detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. In this role, the technician manages daily residential operations, supports and trains the BHT team, oversees client engagement, and helps maintain a positive recovery environment while ensuring compliance with Avenues policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the BHT team in its operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale and maintain a warm, positive recovery environment.
• Ensure clients and BHTs comply with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
