About The Position
The Behavioral Health Technician helps navigate behavioral health patients through their care at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Under the supervision of the interdisciplinary team, the technician provides quality care tailored to each patient's needs to support individual diagnoses and interventions. The role assists with documenting data needed to implement a successful plan of care for each patient and serves as a resource for socially complex cases. The position covers day and 3–11 shifts.
Requirements
- A four-year bachelor's degree, or a combination of relevant education and experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- Relevant experience.
- BLS certification.
- Computer skills, including use and navigation.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good reasoning skills and listening skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to multitask and solve problems.
- Service orientation.
- Strong team-player skills.
